It is a CANDU priority that people affected by cancer in Dundee are able to access services which are holistic and supportive and can help them live their best life with a cancer diagnosis. As well as offering support at our city centre home, we also reach out to people from the most isolated communities who may be experiencing barriers such as financial hardship, social isolation and cultural stigma developing & delivering age-appropriate, culturally sensitive activities for cancer patients and their families.
We also provide cancer support and wellbeing activities at our cancer support hub. CANDU 31 South Tay St., Dundee, DD1 1NP.
CANDU team members offer a drop-in service every Thursday at the Wellgate Shopping Centre from 10.00 am - 2 pm. We provide information, a cuppa and a listening ear during these sessions. All are welcome.
If you need help with transport costs to attend appointments or make use of existing support services or if your partner or family need help while you are receiving treatment we may be able to help. GET IN TOUCH to find out more 01382 525395.
