Listening Books

We provide an audiobook lending service to anyone with a print disability such as arthritis, anxiety or a visual impairment.

We offer membership to adults, children, those in care homes, hospices and hospitals as well as other organisations such as schools. Members can choose to borrow from our ever-growing collection of over 10,000 audiobooks, plus exclusive access to author interviews, competitions and more.

Becoming a member of Listening Books is a quick and simple process. You can join online, by post or by telephone. Membership costs from £20 per year or is free for those that couldn’t afford this.

We offer three ways to access the audiobooks; downloading using the Libby app provided by OverDrive, streaming online through our website, or borrowing books on CD sent via Royal mail. You can find out more information about our audiobook formats here.

We also give members who choose our downloading and streaming memberships access to thousands of newspapers and magazines through our partner service, PressReader.

If you have any questions about what we do, or about membership, you can speak to our membership support team via email at support@listening-books.org.uk or telephone 020 7407 9417. Alternatively, visit our website at www.listening-books.org.uk.
